Guided Meditation (Heart-Brain Coherence)
The practice of meditation and mindfulness can assist you by altering your mind/body state. Meditation gives you time for contemplation and the capacity to take you past the chaotic Alpha pattern brainwave, (normal awaken state) and into more relaxed brainwave states. In this space the most important thing to understand is that it suspends our beliefs (all of them, empowering and disempowering) and our emotional association to them through our Limbic brain, (our emotional self). This allows us to tap directly into our subconscious, devoid of the usual trigger mechanisms that are by design programmed to induce fear, trepidation, etc. when we contemplate change.
In our normal awaken state these triggers would signal hormones to be released into our body such as cortisol and adrenaline, our natural defence mechanisms to prepare us for change, such as inducing the emotional signal fear, even if that is only a mental projection into the future. These hormones induce a short term stress state, to prepare our body to fight or flee from the real situation or mental stimulus, where we are in survival mode, not creative mode. In sport this gives us a powerful stimulus and perhaps advantage to compete strongly, however not so if it is holding us back in other areas.
For example, if you use your amazing imagination to mentally picture and feel yourself as the leader or business owner you truly want to be, and that mental visualisation is incongruent with how you currently identify yourself as a great leader or owner of an amazing business, then this will trigger your natural defence mechanisms and induce hormones that will supress your feeling toward being that person or experiencing that which you desire. Understand this is your limbic system within your brain doing its job to protect you, however, it can also hinder progression in reality.
Meditative states suspend all neurological defence mechanism and opens a gateway where you can use visualisation with feeling and affirmations techniques to script or code better empowering beliefs, and habitual patterns. Over time these become your go-to to references. In other words your upgraded cognitive identity as that person you want to be and experience.
Meditation also has a powerful balancing effect on the entire endocrine system. It increases levels of the neurotransmitters serotonin, that give a sense of well-being, dopamine, which regulates attention and learning, and feeds our reward stimulus; and oxytocin, the trust hormone.
‘The electromagnetic fluctuations quiet the nervous system, permitting your brain to shift into a significantly lower vibration, you enter a dream-like state, and the body becomes unaware of its physical form. These states of hyper consciousness create a magnetic force and produce effects on your whole body when practised regularly, and most significantly creates coherence with the electromagnetic frequency of your heart... You are in balance.
In 1994 researchers discovered that the heart contains 40,000 Neurites. They also validated that the heart emits an electromagnetic field 1,000 times stronger in amplitude than that of the brain.
When the frequency emitted by you heart matches that of your brain this starts the process of literally altering your mind. Neurons start communication with each other through synchronized electrical pulses, producing increased learning and creativity.’
There is a lot of hype around Growth vs. Fixed mindset, it is good analogy, however it is situational based. In reality you are either in Creative mindset or you are in Survival mindset, where no growth can take place.
The tremendous amount of electrical activity being produced inside your body when you are in the meditative creative state, ultimately boosts emotional intelligence, motivational intelligence and adversity intelligence creating resilience.

To Succeed In Your Leadership, Business and Life You Will Need to be Congruent with the Three C's:
1. Courage. The courage to know that success lies on the other side of your fears, self-doubts, and resentments.
2. Consistency. All the things you are good at took time and relentless practice... Therefore to get good at tapping into intrinsic motivation and upgrade your identity as a leader you can either choose consistent discipline in the present or regret in the future... Your Choice.
3. Commitment. Do what you committed to do, (to yourself and everyone else) when you committed to do it. in the way you committed to do it.

Affirmations: Re-affirm Your Inner Greatness
What you consistently speak with emotional intensity, you will experience, you will create, and you will become. The words that you speak with emotional conviction, especially those of your inner voice become the life you live – empowered or disempowered.
Your strategy should never be to ignore the problems of life, but to put yourself in better mental emotional state to creatively move past them, through them or solve them.
Through your inner critic or inner wisdom, which ever one is louder, you are continually affirming to yourself all the time through your self talk... Whether you can do something or cannot.
Firstly start to become aware of your self talk.
Then you take back control of your self talk and cultivate your inner wisdom using these affirmations to put yourself in a higher energy vibration, a better feeling place, from where you can set positive expectations.
Affirmation is the process of reflecting on core aspects of the self. Scietific research shows that self-affirming interventions can reduce stress and defensiveness, while in sports psychology, for example, research shows it can boost short term personal performance and help individual respond adaptively to setbacks.
Each short affirmation relates to a challenge, so dip in and out as you need to. Say the affirmation as many times as you need to if it relates to your current challenge, scream it with passion inside your head and visualise as you say it, with feeling, your experiencing the sheer joy of reaching your short term goal or overcoming a current challenge. This will start to upgrade your sub-conscious belief system.
